Privacy?
This is the internet. Privacy no longer exists.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site anybody who visits the site can see what they said. Also, I may save the comments and use them in any way that I see fit. That may include reposting them somewhere, talking about them, making fun of them, or anything else I decide to do with them. If you send me anything on my contact form, what I have in the previous sentence applies as well.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you visit my site, the webhost may leave a cookie on your machine. I have no idea what info they are collecting. If you want to find out, you’ll need to see their privacy policy.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who we share your data with
If you visit my site, about the only way that I know it is you is if you leave a comment. If you do that, I’ll share the comment with whomever I want. So, if you don’t want that to happen, you should probably not comment.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
You have none. I will not send you what you post on this site. I will not delete what you post on this site (unless I want to do so). If you post something here, I can remove it or leave it at my discretion. It’s kind of like in life, if you say something, you can’t put that toothpaste back in the tube.
Where your data is sent
